Justin Sehmish is an Australia-based commercial and government-relations leader with extensive experience helping international companies — particularly U.S. firms — navigate complex stakeholder environments and build sustainable market positions across Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

With a career spanning nearly two decades across the Military, Federal Government, and Corporate industries, Justin is well versed in all three landscapes and excels in business development, strategic advisory, and government engagement. Justin brings practical knowledge of Australian federal and state procurement, defence industry relationships, and the commercial dynamics that determine success in this market.

He founded USAPAC to address a clear gap: U.S. companies entering Australia need more than market research and introductions. They need a senior representative on the ground — someone who can attend meetings, build relationships, and drive outcomes with the credibility of a local operator and the commercial instincts of a U.S.-aligned business partner.

Justin operates across Australia engaging regularly with government, industry, and defence stakeholders. He also travels to the USA every quarter at a minimum to provide progress reports in person.  Justin is building a team in Australia to support growth and plans to expand to have a physical presence in the USA with local staff in 2027.
